I guess I am not GUI phobic. As the releases go by iSeries Navigator becomes faster and faster. And it you still think it's slow maybe it's your network. I recently spent some time in Rochester and I thought it was rather slow. Someone came in and tuned the network and then it kicked a$$. Maybe you don't like stepping down the clicks. I can understand that. That would be like starting out from GO MAIN to get to every command. No problem. iSeries Navigator allows you to create a shortcut to each function by right clicking on it. And for configuration you like being able to put it all into a CL program. This I totally agree with. However disabled user id's is not something you run when you first configure a machine. Look thru the QATTCL for the create program TZ--- something.
