I would try DSPOBJD OBJ(QDOC/QHXQ242970) OBJTYPE(*DOC) and check to see if this object is damaged. Why would you be getting a message about a document in folder *NONE when you are trying to copy the contents of a folder? Also check the SAVDLO in your backup to verify all documents are being saved. You may need a RCLDLO. Regards, Scott Ingvaldson AS/400 System Administrator GuideOne Insurance Group -----Original Message----- date: Tue, 2 Sep 2003 14:33:48 -0400 from: "Adam Lang" <aalang@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> subject: Error copying documents QDLS is shared out on our AS/400. I was trying to copy down a directory underneath it from a windows computer. It will start copying and then come up with a "file in use" error. In the qezjoblog, I get this message: Message . . . . : Document QHXQ242970 not changed to type needed. Cause . . . . . : Document QHXQ242970 in folder *NONE could not be changed to the type needed. For example, the word processing function cannot edit documents that are in PC data format. If the folder name is *NONE or *INTDOC, then QHXQ242970 is a system object name. If the folder name is *NONE, then the document is a filed document that is not in a folder. If the folder name is *INTDOC, then the document is not a filed document and is not in a folder. Recovery . . . : See any previously listed messages for additional recovery information. If there are no previously listed messages, then the document type is not correct. Create the document again. If this is not an RFTDCA (Revisable Form Text Document Content Architecture) document but you are creating it on a personal computer, do not use RFT as an extension. Any input?
