Last I knew the search feature on the CD's was disabled.

If the URL links are not that trustworthy, why not use the CD instead.
With the latest upgrade last year we got the manuals on CD. I think any 
would have got that.
And I do not think the manuals are updated that often as the web URL's 
that points to them (or not).

Why bother to use the Internet, anyway?

My 2 Euro cents, worth nothing.

And if you do not have the CD, order one; those CD's should not be that 
expensive.
