Oh I don't know. While I have noticed a radical decrease in the number of RTFM or STFW responses, I don't mind answering newbie questions. And, sometimes an experienced person changes hats. There are many seasoned RPG programmers that probably have never applied a ptf, etc. Yet I have noticed a decrease in some participation by the people who used to reply RTFM. I hope it's because they've decided to let the rest of us handle the easy ones, and not that they have dropped from the list. Because some of them were excellent. After some of the replies perhaps I can understand why some subscribers adopt fictitious names like Tom_Cruise@xxxxxxxx Although that's become rather of a red flag also. I most certainly am not a racist, religious bigot, political extremist, homophobe .... or a practitioner of any other non-tolerant sect, but If a colleague in my company needs training, I have the option of arranging internal or external courses for them - either way it costs the business real time & £money. Those who are trying to use this forum as a classroom are cheating us (in more ways than one), they are cheating themselves out of formal education, and cheating the training sector out of business. I for one will not be replying in the future, to any postings that are so transparently 'lessons'. Kind regards, Jeffrey E.
