I imagine web serving on Linux or BSD is a heck of a lot faster than Win 2000 and support a lot more concurrent users I'd guess 4 or 5 times. Anyone have current figures on this? Also, web serving on a PC is a RAM intensive task. How many gigabytes of RAM did you have on the PC? I've seen people run tests on PCs with 256MB and think they were pushing the system because the CPU would max out. Try it with 4 or 8 GB and see what happens. Brad Jensen
