IBM has the docs (someone already posted a link).  You may
also want to check out books and training manuals
available.

Also, depending on your application you may want to look
into dynamic SQL instead of embedded SQL.  It has many
advantages.

I know that Susan Gatner is doing a presentation of
embedded SQL and I am doing one on dynamic SQL at this
years iSeries DevCon in Las Vegas, so that may be a reason
to go have fun in sin city.  :)
