DDM is NOT designed to transfer large "blocks" of data. The original design point stated that it is best used to allow inquiry on a remote system and/or transfer smaller files. There is no good way to determine where the "breaking point" really is with out a real live test. You must plan and test very carefully to have a good DDM install.
