Thanks very much!  I thought I was close but wasn't sure.  In this
particular case, this should work because all the codes will be blank to
begin with so it won't matter if it sets them to blanks if no result set
was found.

although, Waldon and Dave both make good points - I hope to test sometime
today - but I have a 'meeting' to attend.  (i think it might be a post
pre-meeting meeting to discuss the planning done on the pre-meeting meeting
we held earlier today, planning the meeting)

GAWD, I HATE MEETINGS  ;)

I'll post the results of what works.
