Did you have any "unsupported" or "partially supported" hardware on the 720
to be replaced by the upgrade?
I'm also running a 720 at V4R5 looking toward V5R2, and identified several
cards that fit the above categories:

Anybody who has done this what was your approx time

I will need to

apply 4.5 cume, groups and hipers
 -- Did the previous weekend
    Just loaded the cum on Friday and scheduled an IPL. Worked fine savsys
(x2)
 -- Replaced our normal save with Option 21 the night before. install 5.2
 -- Started at about 7:30 AM finished about 4:30 PM.
apply 5.2 cume, group, hipers
 -- Did the next day. This part only took about 2 hrs.

I had the leisure of having the system for the entire weekend.



DASD is 54.5 Gb @ approx. 80% usage
 -- Ours is about 90 GB at 70%. (Model 720)
