>>> Vern Hamberg <vhamberg@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> 03/21/03 09:59AM >>> Ted, you can go to InfoCenter and search on QIBM_QSY_VLD_PASSWRD. This should get you to the documentation, which will include what parameters you should have in your program. In this case there are 2 parameters - the first is the old and new password information. The second is a single-character variable that you set (for accept or refuse) before ending the program. If you've worked with APIs before, you're in like Flint. If not, you'll see that the documentation is for C/C++.The 1st parameter is a structure - you can do the program in C, RPG (of whatever flavor), or even CL. I recommend making the structure long enough to accomodate 128-character passwords. To register your program, WRKREGINF, find QIBM_QSY_VLD_PASSWRD in the list, and take option 8. There you can add your progam with option 1. I'm still not convinced this will work with Client Access changes, but I hope so. Questions? Let me know.
