OK, looking thru the v5r2 handbook I see the following:
2742 : PCI Two-line WAN IOA : Y:-:B:B:B:B:B:B:B:-:-:B:B:B:B:B:B:B:B:V5R2
2745 : PCI Two-line WAN IOA : N:M:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:M:M:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:V4R4

The Y, N after the feature indicates whether or not it is a Customer
Installable Feature (CIF). The 'B' means that it a 'Plant or MES
installation'. For a 270, the column to look at is the 3rd one after the
description.

Based on that:
- is the 2745 even available for the 270? (there's a dash in the 270
column)
- does IBM need to do the install? the 2742 is CIF, but there's a B in the
270 column.
- what is 'MES'?

I've installed drives, INS features, memory, moved feature cards around - I
think I can handle installing a comm card.
