Well, it works just fine. I powered down the system, opened up the cabinet, found a slot that was unoccupied, stuck it in there. Closed the cabinet, powered up the system. WRKHDWRSC *CMN showed it as CMN18. Then I started the iSeries Navigator and ran thru the Univeral Connector to configure the ECS line. Works like a charm.
