I have an AS/400 with two ethernet lines. The second line is intended to
back up the first line. Each line will connect to the LAN through different
switches. The intention is if the first line or switch fails then the AS/400
(and all incoming traffic) will automatically use the second one. How do I
configure that? To create an interface do I need an IP address for each
line?
