Another way to go, which might be simpler, is to convert to VT100 or VT220
format, assuming your client supports it.

It's not *that* difficult, it's just not easy to get going in the
beginning. It's kind of like hand coding in HTML: you see two 'versions' of
everything; the raw stream, and the rendered result. When things go wrong
the device abends :-) Also, a lot of the 5250 emulators allow you to
'capture' the raw stream before it's rendered.
