Bill,

I thought you meant that the macros would do the mailing.  But

1.  No, I don't want macros in the spreadsheet in any way, shape or form.
2.  I want this running on schedule, in batch, on an AS/400 / iSeries with
no human intervention and no PC.  My boss won't allow it.

Your second sentence is not a justification for the first.  If you are
trying to say that macros are not an option because you are going to send
the spreadsheet to the customer and they wouldn't want any of the macros in
the result, this too can be handled in code.  It's not too much additional
work to make a copy that is then mailed without the macros.
