Depends on your provider.  Most of them which handle SMS will provide a free
email gateway, typically phonenumber@provider.net or some such variation.  And
many allow you to create an alias name so you can give out one which is both
easier to remember and which doesn't reveal your cell phone number.

Check with your service provider.  I've been doing this for years here in the
USA.
