I do not want to pass the messages to an intermediary like BT, Vodaphone etc - I am doing that already and they are just too unreliable for critical messages. Surely some software exists somewhere that would enable my iSeries to send SMS transactions direct to mobiles/pagers via a modem? I have an Intel blade in my iSeries, so at a pinch, even a Windoze application would be an option. Jeffrey E.
