It's been like forever since we've battled with twinax outside of the
machine room.
>From what I remember you do NOT want a mix of baluns and twinax on the
same port. I think we have a collection of balun repeaters sitting on a
shelf sucking dust, some Perle 494's, etc.

I can't remember the "exact" details, but there was a real
technical reason "not to" use daisy chains and baluns...
If you have been getting by for a while, I may be waaaay off
base, but I could swear I ran into this problem before.
My mind ain't what it used to be.
