Pat,

Actually we have used it quite a bit... This is a ways from the main wiring
center so maybe it is reaching it's limitations in distance and this hookup
is pushing it to a problem ?

I don't believe you are going to get away with twisted
pair on a "daisy chain"... It will not hold a signal
well enough for that....
