I am at V4R5, with the very latest and greatest PTFs, which is why this is
killing me.  I think what I have is a bad disk, to be honest.  The system
refuses to load ANY licensed programs from B2924_01.  That tells me its a
bad disk, eh?

Where is documentation on scratch install?
