I've got time to do it, and I've got a complete backup, so you never know. Right now, though, I'm doing a manual install and it SEEMS to be doing better. It may just be that the automatic install can't handle a machine with no tape drive. (Or just as likely, somebody forgot to set a switch making the optical drive my ONLY installation device.) So far, I've convinced it to install seven of 59 licensed programs. I'm going to give it another turn after I see what failed. Joe
