So, if you don't have a tape drive, where's your pre-upgrade SAVSYS backup to try and fix the mess - or are you S.O.L ? ;-) Have you tried IPL from disk (try both A and B side) maybe your previous release is there - but starting a RCLSTG *DBXREF may have messed things up a bit. ..Neil "Joe Pluta" <joepluta@PlutaBrothers.com> Sent by: midrange-l-bounces@midrange.com 2003/01/24 17:18 Please respond to Midrange Systems Technical Discussion To: "Midrange Systems Technical Discussion" <midrange-l@midrange.com> cc: Subject: RE: Joe's V5R1 upgrade (was totally unrelated topic) > From: Mike Silvers > > Do you have enough usable DASD? And no tapes in the drive, Neil, because I don't have a tape drive. Because of all the XREF errors, I'm trying a RCLSTG *DBXREF right now, but it's failing miserably. I keep getting errors like "System file QADBRKPA in library QSYS cannot be opened." Joe
