Well then.  Sounds like it's time to skip the mailing list and the IBM .pdf
docs and call 800.IBM.SERV.

Unless the machine came from the factory with a failed disk (which is sort
of what it sounds like), then they should do that one for free.  Otherwise,
be prepared to cough up around $500 to have a CE do it for you.

If you're wanting to try the factory defect route, call IGF beforehand, see
if they can route the call for you.

The process was performed for the removal and addition but the original disk
description is still listed and the new disk is not showing on
Non-configured disk or anywhere on the system.
