Hello, Jerome:

It's fairly easy.....

Create a data queue and CHGOUTQ ... DTAQ(your_new_DQ)

Create a program (CL will do) that waits for entries from the DQ. When
the DQ indicates that a file is ready, retrieve the JOB, USER, JOBNBR,
SPLFNAME, SPLNBR attributes (all found in the DQ entry), and then issue
CPYSPLF to a PF, which you will, of course, have to create beforehand....

Then, use File Transfer or other methods (Network Directory sharing may be
a good choice) to place the file on the PC.

Is there an easy way to have an AS400 outq "print" to a file on a PC with
no
operator intervention required (ie: like a cpysplf with *FCFC) and, it is
xmas, have NO control codes?

Jerry
