Lawson is 100% on the iSeries bandwagon. They promised (for whatever it is
worth) to be in sync with the latest versions and features as the Unix/NT
versions. They are even going to the web interface.

We also use Infinium and are very pleased with it. It seems to be very
flexible in doing many different types of pay calculations. It probably
can do anything you need in specialized calculations.

I'd be leery of Lawson. The last rumor I heard was that they were going to
abandon the iSeries market again. (That may have already happened - I
haven't been keeping up on the latest news in that area recently.)

Thank you,

We use Inifinium here we have it HIGHLY customized. Sorry, I really don't
work with the system much so I can't provide more details.

Lawson is a pretty good system too. I have no experience with their payroll
system though.

Subject: Payroll Applications on iSeries

Hi there,

Anyone got any suggestions for a good Payroll Application that can be
purchased for the iSeries? It's for a mid size company with 300
employees and must cater for a complicated Allowance and overtime system
of payments..

Regards,

Keith
