  Actually, what they were doing is printing the W2's out and handing them
to their accountant to retype.  There were a whole lot of irritating reasons
they decided to update and that was one of them.

Before we started I'd asked them to look at PC-based programs like
Quickbooks and to talk with someone about ADP.  I was not part of that
process, but they did the exercise and still chose to stay with their own
system.

I take it you don't print W-2's? <g>

Some years you had to wonder why in the world the layout of the form changed
as
it seemed to merely re-arranged from the prior year with no real purpose.
