You can use STRSST and go with option 1, then option 3 and follow the
prompts. Or you can use STRCMNTRC, ENDCMNTRC, and PRTCMNTRC. Be sure to
prompt these - the SST way helps organize things for you, as well as giving
you a kind of "Work with..." screen for this task.

You can limit the report to only the IP addresses of the 400 and the
printer or jetdirect card.

I could be the new jet direct card as well. We've had a spate of problems
recently when these cards have been swapped out. There's a certain type or
batch of jet direct card that just doesn't seem to recognize AS400 signals.
I've spent a few hours with IBM support line help on this issue. We've dbl
checked the cards configuration, and that is not it. So far, the only fix we
have is to swap out the cards until we get a good one.

If I remember correctly, you can ping the printer from the AS400, but if you
do a comm trace, it will clearly show the handshake does not complete and
the jetdirect card does not recognize your 400.
