Steve,

I think you are off here.  James was not slamming the iSeries.  Maybe he
has more exposure to change management tools.

What change management tool are you using Steve?  Turnover, homegrown,
IBM's soon-to-be-dropped addition to the traditional set, other?

Frankly I don't have a whole lot of exposure to change management tools
and I am not in the position of arguing the merits of either.

Even if we don't like PC based tools, we can always learn from their
philosophies, techniques and capabilities.

A "Real" change management system on it, eh?  So, by extension, you
obviously don't think the AS/400 is a "real" computer, James?  You sound

Because now I can store my source on an NFS exported filesystem and use a
real change management system on it.  Or use any editor I like. Or...
