Jorge,

Putting the entire option 21 job stream on a console session with wait
status is a good strategy.  There are some obvious programming and
security considerations, but nothing which cannot be overcome.  That's a
good way to go.

I was thrown off by your asking about saving licensed programs and IBM
directories.  If you are duplicating the option 21 job stream
accurately, then this should not be a consideration.
