I have found it so irritating to be forced into using Windows/IE -- by IBM even! If I try shutting down enough of IE to make it secure on the Internet, InfoCenter becomes unusable. I personally like the information available in InfoCenter. What I don't like comes down to (1) poor searches and (2) MS IE practically required with unsecure settings (there should never be a need for ActiveX at an IBM site for example.) I can't believe any significant testing of InfoCenter has ever been done with NS 6. (I use NS 6 on an IBM ThinkPad with W2K Pro and the result is terrible.) Whether anyone on the list personally likes MS IE or NS is mostly irrelevant. However, InfoCenter apparently being written to favor either over the other is inexcuseable for IBM. Uh, IMO, of course.
