First, I am very glad to hear of extended browser support. But also, I have to say that I haven't seen any messages relating to ActiveX at the InfoCenter site for the past month or so. Further, I cannot say if ActiveX was ever in use at InfoCenter. I can only say that I used to get the warning pop-up message boxes that stated "Do you want to allow software such as ActiveX controls and plugins to run? <yes/no>" followed by "A script is accessing some software (an ActiveX control) on this page which has been marked safe for scripting. Do you want to allow this? <yes/no>" It is certainly possible that IE would throw up those message boxes under circumstances other than ActiveX being used. They could have come because of an unusual combination of preferences that I had set for myself or from the various W2K fix packs I had installed or who knows? Wherever they came from, they're certainly gone now.
