RE: 2 different VPNs on different PCs going thru same router allowed? (was RE: DSL reliability)

I have a simple little Linksys cable/dsl router here at home with multiple PCs 
attached. I have been able to run multiple VPN sessions thru it via different 
PCs. Now getting 2 or more VPN clients to coexist on the same PC sometimes is 
fun let alone having 2 of them "RUNNING" at the same time.

Just to make it clear... the router is only passing thru these sessions and not 
doing any part of the VPN

This thread got me thinking.  I'm close to putting a broadband router on the
"front" of my cable connection and hooking up two (or more) PCs to it so my
kids and I can surf at the same time.  I use a VPN connection to connect to
our AS/400 (actually network) at work.  Sometimes I'd like to VPN to one of
our clients at the same time, but I'm not able to get two VPN sessions
running concurrently.  If everything goes through the router to get to the
internet, can I use the other PC to VPN to the client while my PC VPN's to
my company's network?

Using a similar setup has worked very well for me.   That is until my
son cranked up the napster (or was it FTP?) and my daughter started her
chat sessions!  Then the dropping of sessions began.

Found that if there is a bunch of Internet traffic on either side of the
VPN connection that drop-out/interruptions will occur.  Packet shaping
and Parental Grumbling has helped with this issue!
