That sounds just like what I'm looking for. But, you *have* been able to 2 VPN sessions running at the same time on the same PC? How? When I tried to start a second VPN session after the first one was running, I got an error about "already using dial-up" or somesuch. Note: I set up the VPN sessions via dial-up networking, even though I access internet via cable. Is this the problem? FWIW, this is Win95. - Dan Bale (I am *NOT* "Dale" http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l/200105/msg00281.html ) SAMSA, Inc. 989-790-0507 DBale@SAMSA.com <mailto:DBale@SAMSA.com> Quiquid latine dictum sit altum viditur. (was RE: DSL reliability) I have a simple little Linksys cable/dsl router here at home with multiple PCs attached. I have been able to run multiple VPN sessions thru it via different PCs. Now getting 2 or more VPN clients to coexist on the same PC sometimes is fun let alone having 2 of them "RUNNING" at the same time. Just to make it clear... the router is only passing thru these sessions and not doing any part of the VPN __________________________________________________ Kirk Goins IBM Certified iSeries Technical Solutions Expert Pacific Information Systems - An IBM Premier Business Partner 503-674-2985 kirkg@pacinfosys.com -----Original Message----- From: Dan Bale [mailto:dbale@samsa.com] Sent: Wednesday, May 08, 2002 1:00 PM To: midrange-l@midrange.com Subject: 2 different VPNs on different PCs going thru same router allowed? (was RE: DSL reliability) This thread got me thinking. I'm close to putting a broadband router on the "front" of my cable connection and hooking up two (or more) PCs to it so my kids and I can surf at the same time. I use a VPN connection to connect to our AS/400 (actually network) at work. Sometimes I'd like to VPN to one of our clients at the same time, but I'm not able to get two VPN sessions running concurrently. If everything goes through the router to get to the internet, can I use the other PC to VPN to the client while my PC VPN's to my company's network? - Dan Bale (I am *NOT* "Dale" http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l/200105/msg00281.html ) SAMSA, Inc. 989-790-0507 DBale@SAMSA.com <mailto:DBale@SAMSA.com> Quiquid latine dictum sit altum viditur.
