I'm having fun right now. The model 270 threw another disk drive. However, I am waiting for IBM to fax me a new agreement for maintenance on this machine, and I'm scheduled to talk to my BP tomorrow to talk about rolling the lease into a new machine. So far, IBM gets all A+ for their service this morning... I started by calling iSeries Software Support and as soon as I got connected, I told the nice lady I was looking for hardware support. She transferred me to someone who logged my call and immediately transferred me to a technical rep, who in turn walked me through SST to get the proper information and said he'd send someone over ASAP. If they have one in stock, I'll probably see the technician inside of a couple of hours. The trick will be how they handle the maintenance, since this machine is a leased machine and the lease is up.
