Andy, No, unfortunately they let the software subscription expire a couple of months ago. Although V5R1 was available during their software subscription term, they never ordered it and I think you actually have to order the upgrade before the subscription period ends to be able to get it (I guess it wouldn't hurt to ask). I had already asked them to check on what it would cost to add a one year software subscription and they said their BP told them around $2K. I was thinking of doing a little haggling and see if I could get them to renew the software subscription before I buy the machine.
