Dan, I can answer that - no, RTVQMQRY rarely returns an equivelent SQL statement for all but the simplest joined querys. and no, it doesn't give you an error message. only in the manual (and help?) does it give the 'no warrantys expressed or implied' disclaimer :) rick ---original message--- So one thing we've figured out here is that RTVQMQRY does not always convert cleanly/accurately?
