AS-SRVMAP is used to lookup your host service tables for the port to use for client access functions. CA and CAE look there first to see how to connect. You have three setting in CAE. Always look up port, uses local tables or standard. You local pc that is working probably has standard or local selected else it would not be able to connect. Quick fix is to change each CAE pc to use standard CA ports. Your service table may be corrupted causing the AS-SRVMAP job to terminate or you may have port restriction on the port it use's. It uses port 449 with profile QUSER. Now what is the status of the QUSER profile? Is it disabled? HTH, Christopher K. The fact that the as-svrmap job actually stops on the AS/400 seems more of an issue to me although I'm not entirely sure what part it plays in making a connection. I'll get the network guys to check again rather than just "being sure". </cut>
