Nice thing about the www.orbz.org (note the Z, not S) site when you do a
lookup on the status of an IP, it not only lets you know your status with
them, but with several other black lists also.

And with most sites, to get unlisted, all you have to do is submit your IP
for a test. Some of the sites (I know ORBZ does this) will only test once
every 30 days. But, if the request is being submitted from the IP be
requested for testing, they will drop the 30 day rule.

The 30 day rule is so you don't get bombard by tests.

Also, ORBZ runs a mailing list that is fairly low volume where you can ask
questions on the subject. But beware, there is a strong Unix bias.

First off, a mailer is not put onto a list until a certain amount of time
has
passed after an e-mail is sent to the Postmaster warning of the open relay.
In
this note would also be instruction on how to have the mailer retested in
order
to have the site unlisted. So, visit each of the sites (ORBS is the most
used)
and follow the directions to get unlisted.
