I have to reply that prompted (not SQL) QM queries are almost as simple as 
Query/400. And it shouldn't be any more dangerous since you can control which 
SQL statements may be used for each user -- if you only grant access to SELECT, 
that's all the user can do.

Further, once the basics are learned, the reporting can be more sophisticated. 
Query reuse is better through QM than through Query/400 since queries and 
report forms can be mixed in various combinations in QM.
