Under GO LICPGM, 11 (Install) this will be option 35 under 5769SS1 (5722SS1). You do have to order this but it is included in the cost of your OS. One of the reasons for doing this is exportation regulations - certain countries are not allowed to be above (or below) a certain encryption level. Have fun installing it - we did. We beta-installed this on a 720 and the response time was horrible. I'm not sure about the 270. Hope this helps, Chris Whisonant -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-admin@midrange.com [mailto:midrange-l-admin@midrange.com]On Behalf Of Lou Schmaus Sent: Monday, January 21, 2002 4:32 PM To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com Subject: Cryptographic licpgm All, One of our clients wants to do secure telnet. They have a brandy-new 270 that is the only device connected to the web, and then everything else(their production /400's) are behind the firewall. I know I need the Cryptographic license programs(AC2 or AC3), but are these purchased separately, or do I just need to install them? The products don't appear on the Install Licensed Program screen, so I assume they would be on separate CD's somewhere, and I don't have any CD's with those labels on them that came with the system.
