Nilda,

Check your QUSER profile settings - deleted, disabled, or password expired.
This is most likely the cause. Has been for me.....

Hello Everyone,

I am having a problem with CAE too. We have two AS/400's, a 720 with V4R4
and a 820 running V5R1, each time a try to connect to either machines using
CAE I get the following message

CWBSY1008
A general security error was returned to the client from the AS/400 server.

I have checked all the possible cause of the error and everything since to
be fine on both machine, obviously not, there is not a password validation
program being used and the user profile being used has a password assigned.

If anybody have an idea that could help me I will appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
