I'm afraid you are Bang on the nose Dave..  We are currently in the middle of a 
change management program and more and more decisions are being left up to the 
all powerful consultants who think that the era of the PC and Server is the 
best thing since Sliced bread...  The only thing that you missed out on is that 
our 400 Payroll application is also being upgraded but this could be taken off 
the 400 as well...

Keith,

Reading between the lines of your message it looks as though the situation
may be this.

1. You currently run payroll on your 400.
2. You want to add time & attendance.
3. You want to use swipecards for the T&A.
4. Because swipecards are involved the consultants want to bin the 400
   and put everything onto Windows.

Please tell me I'm wrong,
