The problem I have with books like that is I feel that AWT/Swing/Servets/JSP should be the last thing to learn. Being a follower of the Joe Pluta Java <bg>, even though most of what he says at the time goes over my head. After a couple weeks it makes sense after playing for a while. But, to each his own. I bet at least 80% of the Java community does it this way. Most other Java mail groups and forums I am involved in show that people write procedural Java code, instead of using good OO design. Not saying that's wrong, just not the way I prefer. Brad On Mon, 19 Nov 2001 09:42:25 -0800 "Hatzenbeler, Tim" <thatzenbeler@clinitech.net> wrote: > This message is in MIME format.
