We had 20GB 3 weeks ago looking at going from V4R1 to V4R5 and cleaning up stuff like this bought is around 8% back... We added disk last weekend so we are at 46GB now (and I don't have to baby-sit the system NEAR as much as I was the weeks before these upgrades (last week it was above 95%) <BG> ! Chuck <On a system of more than 15 GB, I have never seen the removal of properly licensed software to be of any real value. It only causes grief later when software updates are applied, or IBM "forgets" to ship you software for an upgrade because it wasn't listed on DSPSFWRSC. Concentrate on the data and data storage mechanisms. Licensed programs will not get you anything worthwhile. Again, on a system of more than 15 GB, unless you have someone downloading every available PTF, this will not get you much and applying PTF's *PERM can switch your IPL to A, making the PTF install process more difficult, not easier.> Huh ?
