Cyndi,

If you use the SST ( STRSTT tool - using qsecofr on console 
usually ) you can drill down to look at any magnetic media
errors that have been posted. I am doing this every morning,
and watching for temp ones. We had a lot of temp ones on a
particular drive and had it replaced.

Thanks Dan and Pete.
I did a finger faux paux when I asked for the PTF. After using the number
you gave, I was able to find it on our system. Is there anyway of looking to
see if we were having problems before the PTF was applied ? It was applied
temporary status on 7/26/01. I'm just curious if there was a problem
sneaking up on us.
