Hey Ron, with all the discussion have you reached a decision on how you will
manage the user count?

Pretty much I see you are looking to do the right thing. Actual user count
is really tough but it does seem to be fair. You need to protect yourself
against one user signing onto every terminal in the office, but still allow
for one user to be using multiple sessions.

Obviously you already have a part of your app that does a head count test,
right? But currently it is checking and hitting on too many people because
of different controller types?

So is your question really about what kind of program logic you are going to
need to go out and check the configuration of the workstation to see what
controller it is running on so you can make a call on whether it counts as a
new user or an existing one?

Just checking. There was a lot of noise around your question and I wasn't
sure I saw an answer!
