And depending on how you want to price things,
also count non-person sessions using your application
such as stuff running on JOBQs

There is also value we are getting because we had access to the source code.
The license allowed us to make modifications, to use the source code.
We also now have brand new programs in which a lot of the code is derivative 
from the vendor package.
I have been careful to copy into the headers of the new programs the 
copyright statements from the vendor supplied programs, because if we ever 
convert from this vendor package to some other vendor, we will also lose the 
right to the benefits of the access to the old vendor source code, if I 
understand the law & ethics correctly.
I count as users of the original application the users of these programs that 
I wrote using pieces of the vendor code.
I do not know for a fact that all other people in such a scenario would count 
the same way.
