Wow! We just had a real eye-opener! Some of you may recall that we've had some annoying performance problems with one of our branch AS/400's over the past month. On a whim, I finally checked QPFRADJ, and the dam*ed thing was set to "1=Adjustment at IPL". Seeing as we only IPL when absolutely necessary, this setting doesn't help us a whole lot. I changed it to "2=Adjustment at IPL and automatic adjustment" and magic happened! Really smelling like a rose now! I checked our other boxes, and they were all set to "3=Automatic adjustment". Is there any reason why, if you're already doing the automatic adjustment, you wouldn't also choose to do the adjustment at IPL?
