Well, that's the first I've heard that MC "is being sold" and, hopefully, not left to die. Let's hope so. Still, I can't help but think that the market value of "MC" sank about 80% since most, if not all, of MC's staff will have found employment elsewhere before MC opens its doors again.
But what do I know?
In response to earlier comments, I don't believe MC's closing is indicative of the iSeries market. As others have said, paper publishing is a dying breed. I believe this is especially true where it concerns technology publications.

Here is a response that I got about seminars I had signed up for in October:
"I am working with the seminar director at the moment and the speakers and we
are trying to see if we can still put on the conferences until the end of the
year. Midrange is being sold and they are ceasing business as an IIR company
at the end of the month. The money should be refunded. I'll let you know what
the status of the programs are in a few days."
