I never sent in my subscription. I ranted recently on this list that
Midrange had promised to be more technical, however the sample they sent me
had several articles like:
'The Public Cost of Private Profit' tying IBM to the Holocaust
'How to Run and Effective Meeting'
'Full Circle' which pushed energy conservation in the office.

Chuck/Jeffrey,

Considering the code is copyrighted, I sure wouldn't know why they'd want
to
allow this, at least free. They do (or did?) sell copies of that on their
"Resource CD". The latest release has everything through June 2001. Both
searchable article text and all the code too. It goes back to something
like
1989.

Unless these are being pulled off the market immediately too, this seems
like
their best chance to sell a bunch of copies of the CD. Makes me a little
more
glad I had a subscription to it. And I even lucked out -- it was time for
me to
renew it for fourth quarter but I had not yet sent in the renewal, so I'm
only
out one paid issue of the CD. And my magazine subscription renewal was not
in
the mail yet (but was scheduled in Accouts Payable), so I guess I won't be
mailing that either...

Doug
